Placemaking

We repurposed this currently disused area in collaboration with fellow Taunton-based practice (MIME Architects) to reinvent a public space; strengthen the connection between the daily users and their environment, contributing to their health, happiness, and wellbeing.

Placemaking is a collaborative, human-centered process of transforming underutilized or undefined spaces into vibrant, well-loved places that serve the needs of the community. It involves community engagement to leverage local assets, design, infrastructure, programming, and social and cultural elements to foster a strong sense of place, economic vitality, and a connection between people and the public realm

If you are looking to repurpose a redundant public space, then we can help. For more details contact us at info@dseeds.co.uk.
